Abstract The thesis outcomes represent the implemented experimental program results of studying the effect of replacing the natural aggregates by slag aggregates with different percentages on the performance of concrete, in addition, the effect of alkali activator Na2O percentage, activator modulus (Ms) and water to binder ratio on the strength of alkali activated slag were extensively studied and optimized. Using slag aggregates with alkali activated slag to produce all waste slag concrete with comparable properties as compared to normal strength natural aggregate based concrete was a reached goal |
