Abstract
In conclusion, The AMP independent femoral tunnel drilling technique achieved a more horizontal and anatomic femoral tunnel, but the AMP technique has no clinical superiority compared to the TT technique in ACL reconstruction in nonprofessional athletes as reported by these short-term follow-up results. The use of a strong and stiff femoral and tibial 2intratunnel3 fixation construction with a fixation point of the graft close to the joint line could contribute to minimizing the tunnel enlargement. A prospective randomized study with a 10-year follow-up period should be designed to investigate the possible differences in clinical outcomes of both techniques
