Abstract
Perioperative vocal cord mobility evaluation for surgeries with risk of vocal cord palsy is very important especially in thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. The aim of this work was to evaluate the role of ultrasound in assessment of vocal cord palsy in comparison with the gold stranded flexible laryngoscope.The current study included fifty one patients. All patients were subjected to assessment of vocal cord mobility by ultrasound then by the flexible laryngoscope
