Abstract Urban public spaces should definitely be reclaimed as outdoor living domains. They are considered core elements of every society, where interrelations develop and sense of responsibility and ownership emerge. To assess public spaces, architectural and urban design pioneers have suggested a group of qualities that were organized and sorted to attain a coherent set of benchmarks and a defined process that ensure the open space’s success. Unfortunately, digital media overreliance alongside its addicts’ distinctive personality traits is challenging the long-established qualities of the public spaces, making them less livable and more deserted. This problem is considered to be a worldwide problem, massively affected by the urbanized environment. However, what has been introduced as a high threat to public space endurance, can also be equipped in the public behavioral patterns evolution.
