Abstract
An intervention study (pre- post study) was carried out on females patients with infectious vaginitis (according to gynecological diagnosis) attending gynecological outpatient clinic at Diarb Negm hospital. from the first of July to the end of October 2017).The objectives of this study were to determin level of knowledge, attitude and practice of women regarding vaginitis and to assess the level of change of knowledge, attitude and practice of female regarding vaginitis after a patient education program applicationThe study was carried out on the selected patients by the following steps:First step: Pre- intervention stageSecond step: Intervention stageThird step: Post intervention stage
First step: Pre- intervention stageAfter taking averbal consent from patients who were selected for the sample. The patients were interviewed in the gynecological outpatient clinic and the following was done:
Summary- 90 The questionnaire sheet was filled for each patient to assess socio-demographic and level of knowledge, attitude and practice was assessed toward vaginitis.
