Abstract

High-performance fiber reinforced concrete is a class of Ultra-High Performance Reinforced Concrete(UHPRC)with additional fibre reinforcement to improve material ductility and increase energy absorption capacity. The fibers have additional positive effects on the concrete such as; increased compressive and tensile strength and enhanced post-cracking characteristics. High Performance Concrete(HPC)is one such new material that has a major improvement over conventional concrete; however, its behavior has to be fully understood.
