Abstract Nitrogen-Containing heterocycles are widespread in pharmaceutical and biologically active scaffolds. Nitrogen-containing heterocyclic moieties make up more than 75% of medications that have been approved by the FDA and are now on the market. There are increasingly more innovative N-heterocyclic molecules with important physiological characteristics and potential medicinal chemistry uses. It is an increasingly challenging task to develop greener, milder and cheaper N-heterocycle synthetic strategies through C–N/C–C bond formation. Herein, this study represents a novel synthesis of s-Triazine/Tetrazole, 8-substituted xanthines and substituted pyrimidopteridine-2,4,6,8-tetraones. |
