Abstract
The importance of applying quality requirements in project management and excellent performance is the highly competitive world market, leads many organizations, their top managers, project managers, and engineers to implement the standards of Quality Management systems in their organizations. On the other hand, the small firms still not on that tracks of the race. This research describes the quality requirements of the project management processes, systems that may be applied in the project management. The historical theories, principles and methodologies are first discussed. Then the tools and techniques used in the quality management processes. Pursuit of quality management never stops. Facing more and more tasks in improving quality in the increasingly integrated world. from an extensive literature review of the Total Quality Management (TQM), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and the pervious researches, the consensus opinions of mangers and experts in the area of Project Management and the studying of ISO 9001:20081 quality management system. and ISO 10006:2003 Quality Management System {u2013} Guideline for Quality Management in Projects, which grouped project processes into two categories: the project management processes 2representing the Quality Assurance processes3 and the processes related to the project{u2019}s product.2 2representing the Quality Control processes3
