Abstract This thesis is aimed at developing an econometric analysis on how modern agriculture can be a fundamental instrument for reducing multidimensional poverty in Uganda. It demonstrates the importance of agriculture in reducing inequalities amongst the poor focusing on the relationship between increasing productions from modern agricultural practices and poverty level across the country.
