Abstract This study was carried out at EL- Geimmeza Experimental station, Animal production Research Institute. the field work of the experiment lasted from October 2010 to October 2011. Nineteen born buffalo calves were separated from their dams then used in this study. Calves were assigned to two groups according to birth weight, Heavyweight higher than 35 kg, and lightweight weighing up to 35 kg will be placed under two Housing system concrete boxes and metal cages. After weaning at the age of 90 on the transfer of calves in concrete boxes to the semi-closed system, and calves in metal cages to an open yard system shaded reeds. The data showed that high birth weight in metal hutches of animals given high weaning weight at 90 days was ( 99.6 ± 8.16) versus concrete boxes was (94.40 ± 4.99). The result showed that in table (2). Heamatocrit observed significant difference between CBLB and MHHB was(28.20b ± 4.18) (38.58a ±2.63 )respectively. Significantly in Glucose between ( CBLB), (CBHB) the result was (112.52b± 8.54 versus 96.04a ± 3.35). Observed in MH higher in (T3 and T4) than CB was lower in (T3 and T4) the result were in MH ( 186.63 ± 25.94 and 6.77 ± 0.72) in CB ( 111.7 ± 19.90 and 2.752 ± 0.81 ) While observed no significant difference in ALT and AST/ALT between two system |
