Abstract

The Nile River is the greatest and longest natural alluvial river in the world, with 6,853 kilometers length. The Nile River is a natural alluvial river. In Egypt, The Nile River extends for about 1200 km between Aswan and the Mediterranean Sea, with Nile Delta and two branches Damietta and Rosetta. The hydrological scheme of the Nile River has two main advantages a low clear flow and a flood flow loaded with suspended matter which lasts for four months every year. The flow rate(for both cases;high and low flows),sediment concentration variation, human interventions and the effect of new structures have major contribution for these changes.
