Summary of the study in English
The Problem of study
The stage of youth is one of the best and strongest stages in human life to assume responsibilities, whether on the personal level, on the social level or on any other level. At all its advanced or developing levels, to empower young people in various ways, including what focuses on knowledge and skills by emphasizing that education and training are necessary to enhance and develop their innovative and creative abilities, which help them in the search for job opportunities and to establish a family, and attention to financial resources, means of work and livelihoods as one of the most important ways Empowerment of youth.
Many methods and means that depend on creativity and innovation have developed in order to achieve economic empowerment for young people, and social entrepreneurship programs are one of the pillars of creativity and innovation that is based on creating models for social change and adding social value that contribute to the development of society. It is an innovative idea that stems from social challenges. And applicable as a pioneering project that addresses a social issue or problem or meets a need that concerns the community and achieves social impact and sustainability. Therefore, social entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized as an engine in achieving economic empowerment for young people.
Objectives of the study:-
This study aims to achieve the main objective of determining ” The role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving economic empowerment for youth.”
And emanates from this main objective a set of sub-goals, namely:
1- Recognize the role of social entrepreneurship programs in creating job opportunities for youth.
2- Determining the role of social entrepreneurship programs in preparing young people for the labor market.
3- Clarify the role of social entrepreneurship programs in improving the standard of living for young people.
4- Determining the obstacles that limit the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving the economic empowerment of youth.
5- Reaching proposals to overcome the obstacles that limit the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving economic empowerment for youth.
6- Reaching a future vision to activate the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving economic empowerment for youth.
The questions of study: -
This study seeks to answer the following main question: ”What is the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving economic empowerment for youth? ”
And emanates from this main objective a set of sub-goals, namely:
1- What is the role of social entrepreneurship programs in creating job opportunities for youth?
2- What is the role of social entrepreneurship programs in preparing youth for the labor market?
3- What is the role of social entrepreneurship programs in improving the standard of living for young people?
4- What are the obstacles that limit the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving the economic empowerment of youth?
5- What are the proposals to overcome the obstacles that limit the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving economic empowerment for youth?

Methodological procedures for the study:
Type of study.
This study belongs to the type of descriptive analytical studies
Study Approach.
The researcher used the comprehensive and sample social survey method.
Study tools.
The researcher used a questionnaire for workers in social entrepreneurship institutions - a questionnaire for beneficiaries of social entrepreneurship institutions.
fields of study:
• Spatial domain.
Applied to the Egyptian Foundation for Integrated Development (Al-Nida) working in social entrepreneurship in Qena Governorate.
• Human domain.
- Comprehensive social inventory of workers in the Egyptian Foundation for Integrated Development (Al-Nida) working in social entrepreneurship, and their number is (40) individuals.
- A sample of (120) beneficiaries of the services of the Egyptian Foundation for Integrated Development (Al-Nida) working in social entrepreneurship.
• Time domain.
from 23/02/2020 until 15/09/2022.
Results of the study
The study resulted in a set of results, the most important of which are the following:
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to providing job opportunities for young people, as it contributes to the development of existing industries in society to absorb the largest number of young people, provides new jobs in society, and encourages private work. youth, and reduced the number of young job seekers, and contributed to achieving job satisfaction for young people.
• Social entrepreneurship programs contribute to the development of small projects, as they encourage young people to be self-reliant, help young people learn some handicrafts, help young people learn some industrial professions, help young people to know the steps and mechanisms of work and ways to measure it, and encourage young people to find New ideas and work on their implementation and investment.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to providing job security for young people, as it achieves family stability for young people, makes young people more productive in society, achieves job satisfaction for young people, achieves job stability for young people, and makes young people more involved in societal issues.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to promoting career innovation for youth, as it helps young people to identify work needs, motivates young people to continue their projects, contributes to the exchange of ideas among young people to keep pace with developments, enhances the ability of young people to be creative in income-generating projects, encourages young people to work small projects.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to the self-development of young people, as it gives young people the ability to positively communicate with others, it gives young people leadership skills and self-confidence, it gives young people the ability to make positive decisions, and it gives young people problem-solving skills.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to training young people, as it trains young people in handicrafts, trains young people to successfully manage my project, trains young people on good planning and organization for my projects, trains young people in industrial crafts, trains young people on the various skills required for the labor market.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to the benefit of young people from practical experiences, as it enables young people to assume responsibility and self-reliance, enables young people to exploit their talents in actual practice, provides young people with the possibility to choose the appropriate work, helps young people to open new and diverse horizons, helps young people to benefit from volunteer work, young people learn and train them for the jobs they want to hire.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to linking work and the social level, as it improves the social position of young people in society, provides the opportunity to prove talents for young people, consolidates the moral and professional values of work among young people, and works to spread the culture of self-employment among young people.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to satisfying the needs of young people, as it contributes to satisfying the basic needs of young people (food - clothing - drink), contributes to satisfying the educational needs of young people, contributes to satisfying the health needs of young people, helps with the physiological needs of young people (forming a family), It contributes to satisfying the basic needs of young families.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to increasing income, as it contributes to improving the material level of young people, contributes to investing the capabilities of young people to increase their income, and provides young people with the necessary expenses for educational and health services.
• Social entrepreneurship contributes to the economic independence of young people’s lives, as it contributes to increasing the productive capacity of young people, helps to benefit from the latent energies of young people, contributes to reducing poverty among young people, works on youth participation in societal issues, contributes to eliminating marginalization Young.
• The most important obstacles that limit the role of social entrepreneurship in achieving economic empowerment for youth are the following:
- Lack of marketing for social entrepreneurship programs.
- Lack of youth awareness of entrepreneurial projects and youth preference for government jobs.
- Weak awareness of the importance of entrepreneurial projects in society.
- Weak funding and difficulty in obtaining it.
• The most important proposals to overcome the obstacles that limit the role of social entrepreneurship in achieving economic empowerment for young people are the following:
- Increased marketing of social entrepreneurship programs.
- Increasing youth awareness of entrepreneurial projects and youth preference for government jobs.
- Raising awareness of the importance of entrepreneurial projects in society.
- Increased funding and accessibility.
• The study also presented a future vision for social planning to activate the role of social entrepreneurship programs in achieving economic empowerment for youth.
