Abstract This in vitro study was performed to evaluate the effect of preheating the Nano-hybrid and Thermoviscous bulk-fill composites on the shear bond strength to sound dentine. Thirty extracted human sound molars were used in this study. These teeth were collected from Oral Surgery Department at Tanta University. The teeth were extracted due to periodontal diseases. Each tooth was fixed with sticky wax to the base of plastic cylinder. The cylinder was filled with self-curing acrylic resin so that only roots were embedded within the self-curing acrylic resin. The occlusal surface of each tooth was cut off with a diamond disc of Isomet machine with water coolant to obtain a flat sound dentin surface. |
