Abstract

To compare between patient satisfaction in terms of function and occlusion in custom made plate and conventional champy plate
Methodology:All cases will undergo surgery under general anesthesia with nasotracheal intubation. Intraoral approach will be done to expose the angle fracture.Fracture site will be exposed and reduced in normal anatomic position guided by the CAD/CAM plate.Fracture fragments will be fixed using CAD/CAM plate utilizing 2.0 mm screws
Results:we found that custom made plate is more accurate and needs less time intraoperatively than conventional plate but custom made plate is more expensive and time consuming for preoperative preparation.
Conclusion:custom made plate has many advantages and disadvantages the same as conventional champy plate
