FGM/C is universally identified by any practice of cutting or removing the external female genitalia with no medical justification or consent. There are many unacceptable justifications for passing the practice of female circumcision throughout the decades, which may be based on aspects of traditions, religion, or societal uniformity.
The decline in rate of FGM/C wasn’t so much, and this could be attributed to:
The mass media when involves this practice, the content is about too short and too small messages not touching all sides of the problem.
The legal block of this practice is Limited to established FGM cases when exposed to public with a terrifying problem and neither searching for nor monitoring their occurrence.
The social media deficiently play their role in handling this practice.
The Places of worship avoid much to invoke this practice through their advocacy and awareness activities.
