Abstract Herpetic Stromal Keratitis is now believed to be a leading cause of infectious blindness not due to primary infection with herpes simplex virus but to corneal scarring due to immune mediated inflammatory reaction that associated with HSK. Early diagnosis and started treatment may play a role in preventing this debilitating disease.
