Abstract Background and Purpose: Radical cystectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy remains the standard of care for non-metastatic invasive bladder cancer. The loco-regional recurrence (LRR) rates remain a great burden, even during the era of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Our aim is to clarify the benefit of adjuvant radiotherapy while limiting gastrointestinal toxicities for patients with pathological high-risk bladder cancer through assessing locoregional control (LRC). Our secondary end points are to prove the superiority of adjuvant radiotherapy in disease free survival, overall survival, distant metastasis free period and the relation between the local control and development of secondary distant metastasis. |
