Abstract The present work is concerned with preparing and characterizing the first six transition metal oxides of the 3d elements for the first time(CuO, ZnO, Fe3O4, Co3O4, NiO, and α-MnO2)for MG removal. The thesis consists of three main chapters, The first chapter embraces an introduction to industrial dyes and wastewater treatment methods and the importance of nanotechnology. It also contains a literature survey on sonolysis, photocatalysis, sono photocatalysis, carbon quantum dots and the malachite green dye under consideration. The second chapter includes the experimental part, which describes the materials and the synthesis of six-different types of metal oxides according to the precursor of the metal salt and its composites with CQDs and the instruments used. |
