Abstract In this thesis, we design the Front End and local oscillator for mm-Wave receivers. Cascode topology with inductor degeneration is used for the LNA. A fully differential Gilbert cell is used for the mixer. Push-push oscillators depend on the non-linearity of the oscillator Therefore, they suffer from low output power. This thesis introduces a proposed oscillator that replaces the conventional single-tuned load in the conventional oscillators by double-tuned load resulting in higher output power and better phase noise |
