Abstract
PET/CT is developing a major role in assessing malignant mesothelioma. The information provided by PET/CT is likely to combine the best imaging features of both modalities and become the gold standard for the diagnosis, staging and prognostication in patients with malignant mesothelioma. PET/CT has also become an invaluable tool for the prognostication, monitoring tumor response to therapy and detection of recurrent disease in malignant mesothelioma
