Abstract
This research aims to study and determine the optimum methods of production of the primary petrochemical materials. The best methods for ethylene production are: ethylene from ethane, and the best methods for propylene production are: propylene from propane. ASPEN HYSYS simulation for ethylene production from ethane: indicated that: the highest yield percent achieved is reached 62%, which means increasing in production by 18 % than the designed figure, and for propylene production from propane indicated that: the possibility of height reduction of the splitter tower by 21 % and consequently reduction of no of used trays
