Abstract Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal human cancers and continues to be a major unsolved health problem at the start of the 21st century .Worldwide, pancreatic cancer ranks 13th in incidence but 8th as a cause of cancer death. Currently CT scan is the preferred imaging modality used for the diagnosis and staging of pancreatic cancer. Since the stage of the disease greatly affects the prognosis of the disease, both early diagnosis & proper staging is crucial in the management of pancreatic cancers. Both CECT & DW MRI show no major difference in detection of pancreatic masses (more than 2cm in size), peripancreatic spread as well as nodal involvement |
