Abstract
In our study we aimed to investigate the capacity of preoperative Diffusion MRI to predict the benign and malignant salivary gland tumors, using ADC value and DWI SI in addition to the conventional MRI criteria. The present study included 51 patients (27 females and 24 males, with age ranging from 2 to 70 years with mean of 37.2±22.6) with salivary gland tumors; DWI was performed with b values of 0, 800 s/mm, for all patients using a 1.5T unit. ADC maps were generated for all patients. The results were correlated with histopathological findings
