Abstract Parkinson’s disease is characterized by degeneration and cell death in dopaminergic neurons in the SNpc and loss of their nerve terminals in the striatum nucleus, accompanied by the depletion of the neurotransmitter DA. This depletion causes motor symptoms, i.e., resting tremor, muscle rigidity, and bradykinesia. Numerous exocrine part of the pancreas is influenced by the islet hormones, mainly insulin pathogenic factors such as oxidative stress, free radical formation, mitochondria dysfunction, apoptosis, neuroinflammation, and genetic susceptibility have been implicated in which has effects on the regulation of the pancreatic digestive enzymes biosynthesis and secretions the occurrence and progression of PD disorder. |
