Abstract

This study was conducted in the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Suez Canal University during period from May 2019 to March 2020.
The study was carried out using 90 male albino mice weighted 15-30 g maintained for 2 weeks for acclimation on commercial standard diet and tap water that were ad libitum offered. The study was conducted through 4 experiments
Experiment 1
Mycosporine (MS) was extracted from turmeric Curcuma longa L in vitro. Cultivated for 2 weeks and irradiated for 3-15 days by ultra violet radiation in irradiation chamber. Gas chromatography-mass spectrophotometry (GC-MS) analysis was performed to determine active ingredients of MS.
