”تThis study deals with ””The Poetic Image in Salman Sawji’s Divan””; As it tries to identify the thought of Salman Sawji and his artistic vision of what is around him, this study came in an introduction, then a preface, then two chapters with four chapters and a conclusion, as the preface dealt with the definition of the poetic image of the ancients and moderns, and the definition of the poet and the conditions of his era, and this study came in a preface. two chapters and a conclusion; As for the introduction, the research dealt with the concept of the poetic image between the ancients and the moderns, and then examined the poet’s biography, his era, and his environment. The first chapter came under the title: Sources and Patterns of the Poetic Image, in two chapters; As for the first chapter: I studied the sources of the poetic image of Salman Sawji, in which I dealt with: the silent nature, the living, the animal, reptiles, and insects, and the impact of all of this in shaping the poetic image and giving it significance. As for the second chapter: I studied the patterns of the poetic image of Salman Sawji, by studying the sensual and rhetorical patterns and their impact on the formation of the poetic image. While the second chapter came under the title: Subjects of the Image and the Language of the Poet, in two chapters; As for the first chapter: I studied the most prominent subjects of the image of Salman Sawji. Among them: praise, spinning, and lamentation... As for the second chapter: I studied the language and style of Salman Sawji, and the impact of linguistic methods and phenomena in shaping his poetic images. This study relied on the descriptive approach based on collection, classification and analysis.... in an attempt to reveal the psychological and artistic dimensions in the poetry of Salman Sawji. Then came the conclusion; It included the most important findings of the research, then the list of sources and references, and finally the index that included the content of this study. As for this study, it differs from previous studies. It focused on studying the poetic image. The study aimed to highlight the poetic images and aesthetic values in Salman Sawji’s poetry.
