المستخلص Throughout history, Egyptian cinema has been able to express the various events, revolutions and wars that have afflicted Egyptian society, through the presentation of many narrative films, whether long or short, and narrative films have been proactive in presenting the various events of the January 25, 2011 revolution, through many scenarios that expressed the various events of the revolution, some of which presented the reality of Egyptian society during the years leading up to the January 25 revolution. The study analyzed a number of narrative films dealing with the events of the January 25 Revolution, produced during the period from 2011 to 2018, amounting to 17 films, with the aim of monitoring and analyzing the treatment and presentation of these films of the events of the January 25 Revolution. On the other hand, the media and film elite expressed their different views on these films under study. The results of the study indicate that the feature films in question adopted the view of the people, as well as these films presented a positive image of the January 25 revolution, the films generally relied on ordinary characters inspired by the authors of these films, and these characters were representative of different categories of people. Most members of the elite also emphasized the realism of feature films that presented the various events of the revolution, in general the members of the elite expressed their sympathy for the characters presented through the films . |
