Abstract
Para-umbilical hernia is one of the most common swellings of the abdomen.it can be repaired using sub-lay or on-lay mesh techniques. complications after repair remains a challenging problem . sub-lay mesh repair is considered as a good alternative to on- lay mesh repair .complications such as seroma, infection and recurrence is lower in sub-lay mesh technique
