Abstract Congestive heart failure is caused by left ventricular dysfunction. Anatomically, the aortic root, which connects the left ventricle with the ascending aorta, is a structural component of the heart with the aortic ring. The anterior and posterior walls of the aortic root are seen using a pair of linear signals which share the same force as the left ventricle. Thus, aortic root movement can be used as a marker for the left ventricle due to its simplicity of visualization and high clinical significance. This study was to evaluate the role of SARM in echocardiography in the assessment of left ventricular dysfunction. |
