Abstract

Metabolic syndrome or diseases x, witnesses an increasing abundance through the civilized world especially in urban communities, this is mainly due to sedentary lifestyle.
Metabolic syndrome reflections and burdens significantly affect individual human productivity and so it has its negative economic impacts on both national and international levels.
The sedentary lifestyle is one of the major causes of metabolic syndrome, this lifestyle may influence many changes in the human body at all levels, starting from increased BMI, passing through moving from non-diabetic to a diabetic person, reaching the genetic level in which it may cause some changes in this level which include some gene polymorphisms.
A total of 100 Adult albino rats aged 8 weeks and weighing 150±10gm, were used in the experimental investigation of this study. These animals were obtained from the Central Animals House of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zigzag University. Animals were maintained in cages at the faculty of veterinary medicine animal house under hygienic conditions.
