Abstract

Low Flow Anesthesia (LFA) and Closed Circuit Anesthesia (CCA) have various potential advantages including preservation of airway humidity and temperature, cost saving and reduced anesthetic gas waste and consequently atmospheric pollution. The current study was conducted to assess safety and efficiency of AC mode compared with MCA using sevoflurane upon kidney and liver functions. Current results revealed no significant difference regarding kidney or liver functions between LFA and CCA
