Abstract
Nasolacrimal duct Obstruction is common, only 1% to 6% become symptomatic. by one year 80-96% resolve .conservative management should be done first, The 1st surgical treatment is probing ,When it fails or if a bony obstruction is present tube should be placed, Many techniques and types have been described, the utilized stents are either the Bicanalicular or Monocanalicular intubation, The latter technique is less traumatic , simple to perform, the tube is easily removed although new complications arose, Balloon catheter dilatation is done after failure of silicone intubation. Dacryocystorhinostomy is preferred if epiphora persists
