المستخلص HCV - related chronic liver disease is a major health problem in Egypt which shows the highest prevalence of the disease worldwide. Health - related quality of life (HRQoL) is the main concern of health care professionals and is becoming an important health outcome indicator. As reported by many previous studies that treating HCV patients with Interferon based therapy causes many side effects and also affects the patients{u2019} HRQoL. To Assess of the changes in QoL in Egyptian patient with chronic hepatitis C undergoing treatment with Peg - INF + RBV compared with pre-treatment status and to evaluate the impact of QoL changes on patients undergoing the treatment. A follow up study based on 53 chronic hepatitis C patients receiving Peg - INF + RBV in National treatment program in El Kahira Elfatimia Hospital (one of the affiliated centers to National committee for control of Viral Hepatitis NCCVH, Egypt).
