Abstract
Dibetes mellitus is a metabalic disorder characteriged by presence of hyperglycemia due to defective insulin secretion, defective insulin action or both, in pregnancy there is two types, gestational and pregestational diabetes mellitus by comparison in this study we found that starting glycemic control precomceptional is important to decrease the incidence of birth injuries, macrosomia, fetal mortality, the need of NICU admission and neonatal jaundice
