Abstract
Objectives: The primary objective of this research is to investigate the prevalence of bladder cancer and secondarily assess the status of registration in Cairo University Hospital and detect point of weakness in the registration system. Results and outcomes from this research will serve to better understand bladder cancer in Kasr Al-Ini Hospital and extrapolating it to the incidence of the disease in Egypt. These results may aid to serve other researchers in their quest in managing and treating the disease. Material and Methods: The researcher analyzed information from our retrospectively collected data base of patients who underwentcystoscopy with biopsy, TURBT or radical cystectomy for non-invasive and invasive bladder cancer, at the urology department, Kasr El-Aini Hospital, Faculty of medicine, Cairo University.
