Abstract This study was conducted on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue specimens of 50 cases of breast cancer and 15 cases of fibrocystic change collected from Pathology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, and private laboratories. The aim of this work was to study the role of Foxp3 in breast cancer and fibrocystic change and correlate the degree of its expression with available clinicopathological data in breast cancer and fibrocystic change. The studied 50 patients with breast cancer ranged in age between 23.0 – 70.0 years with a mean age of 44.90 ± 9.14 years while the studied 15 patients with fibrocystic change ranged in age between 25.0 – 42.0 years with a mean age 34.60 ± 5.30 years, with a statistically significant difference between both groups (p<0.05). |
