Abstract The present results indicated that folic acid is useful and effective as a treatment against the Toxicity induced by ZnCl2 in brain of rats. Thus folic acid can be used in co-treatment of zinc chloride poisoning, since it has the capability to alleviate many of the harmful effects of zinc, so its recommended to most people that they should be able to get enough folic acid from their diets : Men and women, 19 years and older: 400 mcg (RDA) and Pregnant women: 600 mcg (RDA) , However, high levels of folate should be taken only under a doctor’s supervision. If you are considering taking a folic acid supplement, ask your doctor to help you determine the right dose for you. |
