Abstract

Intelligent transportation system (ITS) is one of the most effective solutions for traditional transportation system problems in terms of minimizing the negative impacts of automobile exhausts, limiting road fatalities, and managing traffic bottlenecks. It is what is referred to as a “smart vehicular environment.” As a response, the vehicular adhoc network (VANET) has emerged as the key technology that offers drivers a variety of services. However, a number of security problems obstruct network communications due to wireless VANET nature.Accordingly, various prior schemes does not meet an adequate balance between efficiency and security.
