Abstract
The present thesis is divided into four chapters, the first one deals with the problem of corrosion in our environment by represent the mechanism of corrosion. Also, the first chapter includes an information on corrosion as definition, methods of corrosion prevention by several methods depends on changing the properties of metal, changing properties of corrosion medium, combination methods of the famous one electrical (electrodeposition) method. Second chapter includes the historical review of electrodeposition process. Special attention is focused on electrodeposition of zinc, nickel and zinc – nickel alloy, their characteristic features and types of electroplating baths.
