Abstract
The present thesis comprises of three main chapters, each chapter
represented collectively as the following:
Chapter one: Introduction
This chapter contains three parts:
Part one: gives a general information about scope, synthesis and importance
of β-lactam antibiotics.
Part two: shows the Schiff bases of Ampicillin derivatives and their
interactions with metal ions.
Part three: shows the previous studies of the Schiff base derived from
Ampicillin and their metal complexes and their applications and
illustrate the interaction of the DNA with some compounds and shows
the role of the interaction with the target proteins.
