Abstract
Several nature and anthropogenic activities such industrialization, urbanization application of chemical fertilizers, and usage of waste water in agricultural lands have resulted in accumulation of various heavy metals as toxic pollutants in food chain via soil accumulation and plant uptake (Singh et al ., 2015). The contamination with heavy metals such as Cd, Hg, Al, Cr may result in a severe inhibitory effect on plant growth and production as well as risk damage in animals and human health (Sharma et al ., 2012).
