Abstract
Systems under study has been able to sense and determine the concentration of certain types of pesticides used in agriculture, which have very harmful side effects on public health, in a simple and easy way. As a result of this study we found that, the complexes can detect the pesticides (Azinphos ethyl, Malathion, Heptachlor Chlorfenvinphos and Dichlorvos). The limit of detection for the pesticides are of micro-molar. The effect of some complexes on DNA and on some types of proteins (BSA) has been the studied and the results showed that these compounds could have therapeutic effects. The interaction of the complexes with DNA and BSA was investigated by titration of fixed amounts of the complexes with different concentration of the analytes and concomitant recording the fluorescence or UV spectra. Computational chemistry extends beyond the traditional boundaries separating chemistry from physics, biology, and computer science. Modeling work was used to form compounds used by some computer programs and study some properties which affect their interactions.
