Abstract The current study was about an experiment showing the effect of natural substances included in the diet of aquaculture for 45 days. A total of 90 apparent healthy Nile cat fish (Clarias gariepinus) with average body weight 82.96 ± 3.09 g / fish were divided into 3 groups (30 fishes of each). Each group distributed in 3 aquaria (10 fishes in each). The current study was planned to assess the effect of graded concentrations of Moringa leaves powder (M. oleifera) 5 % and 10 % in diets comparing with the basal diet without any addition. This investigation depended upon many criteria; growth performance of the fish, antioxidant activity, liver fuction, kidney fuction, blood picture. Moreover, the histopathological findings that monitored the morphometric changes in the intestine tissue samples of Nile cat fish. |
