Abstract In summery, study of Li, Zhen, et al.(140) agree with the present study that The changes macular vessel density (MVD) had strongly positive correlation with ganglion cell layer (GCL) thickness and RNFL thickness, had negative correlation with the severity of glaucoma, which meant the more severe the glaucoma was, the lower MVD were. Compared to traditional glaucoma staging system judged by VF, the changes MVD obtained by OCTA might be a new method to grade the stage of glaucoma. These findings theorize that the changes of MVD may be better facilitated for the observation and monitoring of glaucoma progression. Onishi, Alex, et al.(138) agree with Parafoveal vessel density was significantly reduced in glaucomatous eyes, with good diagnostic accuracy. These findings provide further evidence that these changes may be useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of disease in glaucoma patients. |
