The research aimed to develop some concepts of body protection among mentally handicapped children through the program based on performing arts, and the research sample consisted of (20) children from the first level children divided into two experimental groups consisting of (10) children at the School of Intellectual Education in Sinbillawain, and the other control consisting of (10) children at the School of Intellectual Education in Aja, and the researcher used the experimental approach during practical application and a questionnaire was prepared to determine the dimensions of protection concepts The research used the following tools (cognitive testing of body protection concepts for mentally handicapped children, the behavioral scale of body protection concepts for mentally handicapped children, performance arts-based program, teacher’s guide to program implementation. ”Prepared by the researcher” The tools were applied before and after on the research sample, and the results of the research resulted: Effectiveness The program based on performing arts in the development of concepts of body protection for mentally handicapped children who are able to learn, and in light of these results, the researcher made some recommendations, including attention to providing the concepts of body protection for children in general and children with special needs due to their importance, attention to developing education curricula for mentally handicapped children who are able to learn in line with the needs of mentally handicapped children who are able to learn.
