Abstract The purpose of this research is to evaluate whether platelet-rich plasma (PRP) aids in the recovery process after nose surgery. Two hundred patients (aged 18-60, both sexes) were recruited for this research and randomly assigned to one of two groups (n=100). group A had PRP instillation at the conclusion of their nasal surgery, but group B did not. Our results suggest that the use of prp in the merocle significantly improves postoperative mucosal healing, with decreased discomfort, bleeding, and synechia. Finally, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a straightforward and very efficient treatment, and its administration to mucosal wounds in the immediate aftermath of nasal surgical procedures has been shown to hasten the wound’s healing process. Patients had a better overall post-op experience with less discomfort, less bleeding, and less synechia. |
