Educational Accountability as an Approach to Confronting Administrative Corruption in Secondary Schools in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait Dissertation Abstract The study aimed to set a proposed perception for activating educational accountability to reduce administrative corruption in secondary schools in Al-Ahmadi Governorate in Kuwait.The study relied on the descriptive approach, which is the approach that studies an existing phenomenon, event or issue from which information can be obtained that answers the questions of the study, analyzes it, and defines the relationships between its components without the intervention of the researcher in it. The study reached many results, the most prominent of which are:-The application of educational accountability helps to solve many educational issues that improve the quality of education and increase the effectiveness of the educational system.-The application of educational accountability helps to reduce the phenomenon of private lessons, as the accountability policy improves the teacher’s job performance and raises the value of educational institutions, which leads to parents’ confidence in the services provided by the educational institution.-Accountability is of great importance in preventing officials from trying to conceal their improper or illegal actions between the responsible authorities and those charged with oversight.-The concept of accountability includes processes and methods by which it is verified that things are going according to plan, and it means that every person is responsible for every part of his work and for the results of this workThe study ended with developing a proposed perception for the development of university education in the light of the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Accountability is a natural outgrowth of sound natural practices, including democracy, transparency and empowerment.
