Abstract COVID-19 pandemic has been reported to distort the sexual relationships between partners and sexual function. It has also been demonstrated to cause endothelial dysfunction, leading to impaired erectile function. Available data in the literature also implicate post-COVID-19 ED etiology might be a primary organic or psychogenic mechanism. Hence, COVID-19-induced ED may involve multiple pathways and the management may require integrated multidisciplinary measures. Since the infectious viral disease is novel and rapidly evolving, and with increased number of male patients in out out-patient clinic complaining from ED after a recent infection of COVID-19, we conducted this prospective observational study to define the association between ED and COVID-19. |
