المستخلص The research aimed to design an adaptive e-learning environment according to the preferred learning methods according to the communicative theory and measure its impact on the development of cognitive achievement in science, self-learning skills in science, and self-concept among slow-learning students in the first grade of preparatory school. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the developmental research approach, by applying the model of Mohamed Ibrahim El-Desouki (2014) to design and produce teaching and e-learning environments. The research sample consisted of 22 slow learners. The search results reached the effectiveness of an adaptive electronic learning environment in developing cognitive achievement in science, self-learning skills in science, and self-concept among slow learners.
