Abstract

Abstract
conjunction is an essential part of the Turkish sentence that is used to connect words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that have similar functions, based on their role in the context. The main function of this part of speech is to shorten and avoid words and phrases repetition. The conjunctions don’t have a single meaning, so the conjunction is called for the word that connects the words and sentences that have similar functions, in terms of, their role in the context.The conjunctions can be divided into single-word, derivative-word, and compound conjunctions. For origin, some of them were originally in Turkish language and some of them were originally from other languages such as Arabic language and Persian language.
Coordinating conjunctions ”sıralama bağlaçları”: They are either repeated,single-word, derivative-word, or compound conjunctions.
Confirming conjunctions ”denkleştirme bağlaçları”: They are either single-word compound, or repeated conjunctions., Encountering conjunctions ”denkleştirme bağlaçları”: They are either repeated,single-word, derivative-word, or compound conjunctions.
contrast conjunctions: They are repeated conjunctions consisting of two words.
